Progress.

Took truck to buddys and Im letting him turn some wrenchs on the truck while Im tryin to get my 99 going again.

Exhaust,fuel tank,harness,driveshaft and most crap under hood are gone.


The flash makes the frame look bad but in reality this truck is just stupid clean! Just mild surface rust on the frame that can be rubbed off with my finger.Never in my life have I seen a Ranger that didnt have a rusted front core support...hell even the one on my 99 Ranger has rust holes in it already.



The partner in crime....


Motor/trans will be out in a day or so then it will be time to lay out a game plan for what part of the truck will be started first.Also talked over some cool paint and graphic ideas....gonna be sic.

After the truck gets stripped its going into storage for a couple months. I am currently packing up and moving back into my old house where I grew up while my father and step mother move into her old house....long story.

Anyway,once Im moved into my new house I will have a 4 car garage and 8.5 acres to play with so thats when I will pull the body off the frame and start from the ground up.

 

Updates on this? I want to see some progress! lol

Well not much to report yet but there will be some wrenches flyin soon.

For those who dont know,Im moving out of my 1400sqft house with a 16x24 garage on .75 acre and moving into my dads house since him and my stepmother are moving into a house she owns.We are working out a land contrac so we can keep his house in the family since he doesnt want to give it away and I cant afford a 200k+ mortage right now.Its a 2200sqft 250k house on 8 acres with a 26x40 garage and a few smaller out buildings. This is the house I grew up in so to say I am excited is a massive understatement.

Today I started moving into my new garage! The Ranger and Bronco are sitting outside the garage while I get all his toolboxes{and 40 years of crap} out and all of mine in.I should have the Ranger inside by the end of the month and be all settled in enough by then to really get to work on it.
