So I took the truck out for a trial run last night. All I can say is wow. This truck is so much fun to drive now. It floats through the rough stuff and feels very controlled through the bumps and g-outs. Through the course of the night it became very clear that the rear of the truck needs a long travel treatment as well, as it could not keep up with the front. The RCD rear is much better than stock but no where near the DBR front. Unfortunately, being a night run, I did not get any pictures other than a cell phone picture of a sidewinder that we almost ran over. Front fiberglass is still on route. I will post more pictures when the fenders arrive.

I decided to do a 360 shoot today. I still don't have the front fenders, hopefully they will be on by next weekend. I am trying to decide if I can live with the current stance. I guess that it would be labeled a reverse California lean. Let me know what you think: Level it (drop the back) out or leave it alone?

I would leave it. Once you load up your truck with all your gear and everything it is going to sit lower.
Unless you go custom, deavers are really bad with any weight in the rear.

I like a little rake but I think pulling the blocks to make it level would look great.

What are your plans for the rear? Flipped hangers and new leafs?

Ultimately, I will LT the back as well. I will probably go with flipped hangers, Camburg shackles, and a Deaver G50 race pack. Obviously this will require new shocks and a bed cage as well. I am also considering the Giant 64" leaf pack. For now, I just need to adjust the stance and live with the current travel.

My only concern with removing the block or installing a shorter shackle is that I will be loosing 2"+ of bump travel unless I remove the bump stop extension and replace the RCD Bilstein shocks with a shorter body shock.

I never installed the bump stop re-locators. remove them and remove the block, it will help with axle wrap too not having that dumb block in there.

well i was the one who was going to buy Matt's RCD kit, but after speaking with him several times and seeing his sick-a$$ build, i went out and purchased a DBR kit as well. should arrive in a few days... build thread to come.

so now, i hope one of you guys jump on the great offer that Matt has for his RCD, unless it has already been spoken for!!! i myself will also have part for grabs in the near future.

My front glass finally arrived from Fiberwerx. I bought them with a black gel coat since I knew that it would be a while before I got around to a new paint job. The match is far from perfect, but definitely beats the white fender look (IMO). The install went fairly easy and only took a few hours. The most critical part was locating an drilling the holes for the posts located on the back of the headlight assembly. Since we were working late at night, I did not take any progress pictures, but here is the finished product.

Nice. Truck looks awesome!!

I'd like to get some, but I'd be afraid of cracking them or something.

Still have it. It is taking up room in my garage so $450.00 without lights $550.00 with lights. I would love to see it go to a good home/Ranger.

Thanks! Unfortunately the factory skid went to the junk yard shortly after it was removed. It was bent a bit out of shape from my wheeling days prior to the RCD lift. The lower tabs had also been removed to work with the RCD drop bracket.

I am currently trying to decide whether or not I should add a skid plate to my current tube bumper or simply start over from scratch.
