Great pic.....a great laugh.

the "view topics since your last post" feature, lately its been of a VERY short expiration, like I would look at a topic, and then when I go back to see other posts, it says that no other topics have been meeting my critiera, is this just a problem with the site, or my computer? anyone else gettin this right away?

I have my "favorite" shortcut pointing to that link, and when viewing the threads, I just open a new window for each topic. Then I work my way down the "view topics since my last visit" page. No refreshing issues at all that way.

I live by it too, but I wonder if that link could be added to the header on every thread? After making a reply, it would be nice to jump straight from a thread back to the "last topic" list. Just another "nice to have"

There are times when I would like to be able to search for all post titles from all forums back to a certain point in time - for example, 12 hours back. I would need to be able to do it without specifying an author or a keyword. I tried to figure out how to do this without success. Is it impossible or am I missing something?

I was about to suggest what I did on occasion on the 'old' site, which is to do a search for '*'. Basically this returns all threads listed in order of age. Unfortunately the 'new' search engine won't let me do this anymore! I often used this if I had logged in and somehow logged out (say I checked a post and then closed the window) and then logged back in again. On the second login, it shows that there are no new posts.

Any chance of having it so the search feature allows searching for '*'??

i just did the closest mod i could find to what people want all the time... the "view topics since x amount of time"...

it only works, though, on a forum x forum basis...

here is what it looks like:

you can check it out by going to any forum...

i am working on figuring out a way to make it work on the "new posts" page... just give me time...
