We got NAILED here. Trees down all over the place. Power, cable, internet outages. **** sucks man. I've got my furnace cranked up to 80 to warm the place up in case we lose power for an extended amount of time. 5 blankets on the bed and a candle in every room.

It's still sleeting like crazy out right now. My tin roof sounds like 5000 kids shooting pellet guns at my place.

Lol. Turn your furnace down, you're just wasting gas.

Sounds like the damn apocalypse. We're getting your storm tonight.
Stupid news is making it sound like a war is about to erupt. This happens every winter, it's called....winter!

By the way..the ice edition truck looks sick!
Did you shave the ford emblem or did the steppies not get one on the tailgate

getting ice here too, couldnt get into my truck this morning, doors were welded shut with the ice, fortunatly i could get into the blazer and i used the ice scraper from it to help pry the door open. i do have a semi tractor mudflap on the windshield, so all i had to do there was get a corner pryed up and i could remove the whole thing leaving a good sized square to see through. wish i had heated mirrors, kinda sucks having to stay in one lane caus you cant see to change lanes. i dont get how it can be so cold yet we get rain. really wish i had a garage. of course the garage door would then be sealed in ice too.

I would have scraped the ice off, thats dangerous man, plus the cops can pull you over for that stuff.

Stupid news is making it sound like a war is about to erupt. This happens every winter, it's called....winter!

My place gets cold in a power outage in around 2-3 hours. I mean the same as outdoor temps. It's old and drafty. My aunt was without power for around 32 hours shortly after the storm hit, so I don't mind "wasting gas" just to make sure I'm prepared. I've got trees coming down in my backyard that the trunks are basketball sized. We've got enough ice on everything to lose power any minute. It's been flickering on and off for hours now.

Also, this type of stuff doesn't happen all the time. This isn't just winter. This ice is causing major problems all over the county. I haven't seen ice like this since the late 80's - early 90's..
