Its not ideal but it'll work for this trip, I'm just goin whats normally a 45 minute drive away.
Still gotta weld on tabs for the safety chains, I'm considering just hooking them to the front receiver. Then get some lights, or take my time and tap into the stock lights.
I towed it around the neighbor hood earlier and it seemed to track behind the Chevy perfectly.

i was trying, and i was gonna, but i wasn't gonna let it go for a grand.
and no, i left the key in the ignition to keep the wheels unlocked.
plus if i do break a 9" shaft its bearing retained so the tire won't walk out unlike the worthless 8.8 haha.. If i break a 44 shaft, well if i break both the one in there and my spare.. i'll just pull it all out so it'll steer.

does your instantly pull when you let go of the wheel? it shouldn't, basically its the same as driving your truck down the road. since he's got a bar hooked to the frame the alignment of the wheels keep the truck going straight. if i was hooked loosely yeah it would float all over not mentioning not being safe for everyone around you
