First off, let me just say how excited I am about finding these forums! it's good to know I'm not the only one who loves the Ranger as much as I do!

I just recently bought an 83 off a buddy, because it was identical to the one my dad used to own and would drive me around this rural county in. I had to have it. I knew it needed a lot of work, but I was willing to put the time, money and effort into it. But, almost right out of the gate I've hit a snag

When I got the truck, I noticed that the carb was exposed, as there was no air filter, air filter assembly, or air intake hose installed. I was lucky enough to find an air filter assembly part online, but I absolute can NOT find a hose that attaches to it! I've found one website that carries the right size hose, but they're seemingly always out of stock. it looks just like this:



Anyone that could provide some help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes, finding original parts like these in good condition is hard, they tended to fall apart
