Ok I was wondering if my ranger with the 2.3 in it would sound decent with a cherry bomb glass pack. I kno it would sound a little ricey but idk. And also would I have a performance issue with back pressure.
I had one in my old truck with a 2.3 back when I was in high school. At the time I really liked the sound, was deeper and throaty-er than the stock exhaust, not to mention cheap. You won't have any issues with back pressure either.
Yea I'm in high school right now (11th grade) and in my cte auto shop this guy just dual cherry bombs on a jeep wrangler and it sounded great. I kinda want one now too but my cousin who use to work at the ramcharger in either Roseville or scs I can't temember which one. But he told me I would have a back pressure problem and I would lose all my torque
The glass pack will most likely be done first after I fix these damn pos fog lights I bough. And then most likely I will be redoing the audio system cuz I think my iPod head phones r better quality then the speaker the truck has. And the if I got money and another car to drive and if my dad let's me have to garage for a while I want to swap the motor and box the frame
do it, will be a lot nicer and cheaper than some of the other setups out there, if i get another 4cyl ranger or something happens to my pipe i plan to do it (currently have 2.5" catback with a flowmaster 40)
DO IT! I had a glasspack on mine, even thou its a 2.5 but it gives you the loudness of a straight pipe without the pops and cracks. I want to put one back on but I need to go to an exhaust shop so they can bend me a piece of pipe, where I have it cut it puts the muffler super low under the truck.
