How old are your ball joints? Mine squeaked. Temporary fix would be poke a hole in the boot and fill with WD40 and stay out of water. Hope this helps. Mine didn't stop right away but it did eventually. Also when I shot the lubricant in it came out the hole that was already there which caused the squeak by letting water in.

Nice remote diagnoses. Lmao
It could be control arm bushings, upper or lower ball joints or inner and/or outer tie-rod ends. Unless you want to just replace parts, track down the noise while a friend bounces the truck around.

What else do you expect? That's what he asked for. He can't drive over so I can look at it with him. I asked a question and suggested a possible cause due to experience with my truck. If you don't have any suggestions for him to look for then why post. Apparently he's having trouble finding it if you read the OP's message instead of find the squeak and replace that part. If he knew what it was I'm sure he would replace it instead of making a thread.

Don't get your panties in a bunch now.
Like I said, you can replace parts at random or take time to hunt them down. I've had noises on my ranger from just about everything up front. Upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, etc. You can bounce the truck by yourself from underneath and find it.
You can't diagnose most of this **** over the Internet, which is why I said he needs to just find the noise. Any mechanic should be able to figure out where the noise is coming from.

We can help him narrow it done. Since he already took the sway bar off it won't be that so I would guess from that he's already been under there trying to find it and tried some lubricants. I can only guess that he might have used a spray to soak moving parts. Isn't the whole point of starting a thread to get help so you don't have to take it to a mechanic. So if you have any useful knowledge or help to offer then ask him questions. Instead of FIND THE SQUEAK AND REPLACE IT. He's already trying that and is looking for someone to point him in the right direction.

Is something wrong with you?
I told him several things that it could be, as I have had noise from everything in front of my old Ranger.
The only way to figure it out for sure is to get under there. Sometimes it helps to have a long screwdriver that you can place the small end on individual parts and the big end to your ear like a stethoscope, while either you or someone else bounces the truck. Placing your hands on certain parts can also reveal "notchy" movements which is how I found a bad tie-rod end when I couldn't pin-point the noise. A person can also jack the front end of the truck off of the ground and support it with jack stands, and move the tires around looking for play in any of the front end components. There isn't much other help to offer over the internet, other than simply saying "replace everything".
In case he still isn't getting it (clearly blueranger is not), here are the common issues.
Lower ball joints
Upper ball joints
Inner tie-rod ends
Outer tie-rod ends
The sway bar bushings also commonly squeak, and the lower control arm bushings sometimes do as well. Those are all of the main areas I would listen to and look at closely.

Smartest thing you've said yet.
What's wrong with you? You've been a d*** the whole time you've been in this thread.
What you are not understanding is that giving someone a vague answer on their question is not much help. I'm not asking for help on here I fixed mine on my own using similar methods that u just explained to him.
