SuperLift Front Components (From Summit)

SuperLift Front Components (From Summit)
I found this on summit racing's website yesterday. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLF-9630/
So I emailed the people at summit and asked if it would fit my 01 and what the kit they advertised came with. He only told me it would work on a 98-99 only. WHAT?! I thought Rangers above 1998 all had torsion bar front suspensions if they were 4X4 or EDGE models.
So my question is, has anybody had any experience with this kit and know what really comes in it and will it fit my 01?

There are several different components to the K358 kit and that is one (sort of). ignore that picture, that is wrong, it is just the knuckles. In fact it is somewhat outdated, the new component is 9637. you also need 9631 for the additional front end components, and 2338 is the part number for the rear components. So, sorry to bust your bubble. 9630 and 9637 are both front knuckles, but 9637 is the newer one. Hope this helps. These are all the individual kits that make up K358

Here is also a document I found, it is referring to updating the older kits to be compatible with 06+ rangers (all new kits should have all the parts inlcuded, this was to back date any kits still in stock. Still, something to be aware of if buying used)

I was going to email Superlift and find out exactly what is in the kit, because I just scored a set of knuckles off CL very cheap.
Original plan was just to make my own drop brackets for the LCAs and diff, but then I saw that kit. Obviously it was too good to be true. Oh well.
By the way, the knuckles I have are the old ones, but the brake caliper pads are still cast large enough for both rotor sizes. If anyone has the older ones and wants to put them on a newer truck (or just upgrade their brakes), you would just need to have them drilled for the new brackets. Obviously, having a machine shop do this would be the way to go, as you don't want to screw anything up by drilling inaccurately.

I have Superlift knuckles I scored off CL, so I would have been tossing the extension brackets in the trash.
However, as SteelDirigible pointed out, the part number is just the knuckles. Summit obviously just has the wrong picture there.

Then it seems like a good deal for the front lift. The rear just get some chevy drop shackles and some AALs and you will be set. Also its a good time to replace ball joints (if needed) since you have everything apart. I changed my front diff gear lube when I did mine, alot easier when the axle is out.

I'm replacing everything. I have a second set of control arms I'm rebuilding and welding on coilover uprights, then getting powdercoated and installing urethane bushings and new ball joints. I won't be putting the lift in until I've got all new stuff ready to go in.
I already have shackles, and I plan on doing Exploder leaves with the SL. The pic in my sig is before I did the coilovers, shackles, and put the 265's on. I need to get a more recent pic there.
