What tires do you guys recomend

I am going to need some new tires. I don't want to spend to much money, so I'm looking to get some decent tires. The truck is 2wd, and I just want something that I can use on road and off, just incase I want to have some fun. Thanks in advance guys.

And I can pick them up at like a NTB or good year or something like that?

Also, if it matters, I have stock rims, which I belive are 14's or 15's, but I don't remember.

EDIT: nvm didn't see your running a stock wheel

i hate bfg's but i'd do those way before a set of grenerals. i sold those for years and could never keep a set balanced up and they had road noise like a ****.

btw.. how low is your truck? an AT tire will look like hell if your slamed on some nice rims.

I love the look of the Destination A/T's I don't offroad So I can't speak for them there, but they are handling the Canadian Winter pretty well. Never been stuck yet.

If you are looking at mostly on road use with light off roading I would suggest the Michelin LTX M/S or the X-Radials (only found at Costco, Bj's and Sam's). They are gonna be a little on the expensive side but they are a great tire on road and will give you decent traction off road. Quiet and smooth too. If you are looking for something a bit cheaper look at the BFG Long Trails or Rugged Trails. They are going to be a decent tire on and off road. a bit louder and rougher on road but nothing to bad.

If you are only going to occasionally go off road I would not suggest getting an A/T. I got a set of A/T's a year ago and with all my highway driving I hate the things.

Nokian Vatiiva AT's if you can get them. Should be well priced, and will give unbeatable wear and traction

i run pep boy's store brand dakota futuras for my winter tires, similar to the bfg a/t tread, good life, queit and about 55 per tire (p235/75-15's) my summer tires are uniroyal liberators, a bit more expensive (65/tire, same size as above) have a higher treadwear and load rating, but are absolutly awful in muddy conditions.
