15x10 consequences? or x8 with tiny BS?

So which do you think would be 'easier' (ie wear less) on my truck...
15x10
OR
15x8 with tiny BS (ie 3.3")
OR
15x8 with normal BS to save wear and tear??????????

Any personal stories or warnings would also be greatly appreciated...This is also my DD, so any changes need to be sustainable for dependability and low maintainance. If I do one of the first 2 options, would I have to change wheel bearings frequently? Or not really?

15x8, I dont know if my wheels helped it alog but after putting my old 15x10's on, my drivers side wheelbearing toasted in 5k miles.

I haven't had any probs with 15x10's. Kevoo has replaced a L wheel bearing at 38k and 2 cv's so far (cv boots just randomly tore...actuually happened on the street)

it all depends on what lift you are going to run (if any at all)

on a stock truck and up to a 6" lift, run 15x8's......anything over 6" of lift, run 15x10's........

Yeah, I will be stock or 3" lift. So sounds like I should get 15x8s. What about BS though? Like, I saw the MT Classic Locks have an option for something like 3.313"BS....that would be good. The reason i persist is because I have factory flares and I hate seeing my 7 inchers tucked SO far under the truck...

But like I said, if that little BS is gonna cause problems, then maybe I just need to accept that is how they will be...??

you want a 3 5/16" backspacing........98% of manufactures who make a 15x8 for a 5x4.5" bolt patter has the backspacing set at 3 5/16".......

and you don't think that little amount of BS will incur maintainance like 10" wheels would? If not, that would be the way to go?

i believe they are 4in backspacing, don't know about offset, they are coming of a jeep cherokee or something, guy is giving them to me really cheap so i figure i'll see if they work for me first, otherwise i'll sell em
