My friend had an 02 3.0L 2wd on 35s with 4.56 gears, it drove really nice. Re-gearing is probably something i'll do further down the road...

Seen this truck before. Have a few pics of it on my computer at home. One of my all time favorite Rangers...even if it is 2wd.

you're going to want 4.88's with 35's

I have them on my 4.0 and it does alright. I couldn't imagine anything less.. Blew my trans before I regeared on 35's too. and i'm not the only one thats happened to.

I had 15x10 and couldn't flex the rear at all really on 33's

The front hated me too, I was on 3" spacer upfront, shackles out back and a 3" BL

But I'm sure it differs for the newer trucks.

I agree with Ty. You're going to want to regear when you get the tires or you will be spending more money down the road.

Blew your trans due to-to much strain on your trans for having 35's on it, with factory 4.10's lagging to get up and go?

That's crazy and defiantly has to suck. :-(
How much was the new tranny? Just curious.

the question is should i AAL the rear or not?? I kinda like it this way, I like the lean especially cause thats the look down here. I definitely need 35s though and when I get them im getting 4.56 gears for sure.

free.99. Truck was still under warranty when it happened. haha

and yeah, it was a lot of stress on the trans from the tires. I even had ppl tell me it would happen if I didn't regear soon enough and sure enough.. lol

AAL for sure. or you will be hard pressed to even fit 35's in the rear.

and you should really take a look at 4.88's UNLESS you've got a 7.5 rear end, then I Don't think they'll fit... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have the 8.8 rear. If 4.56 gears aren't any cheaper than 4.88s then I'll take your advice and get 4.88 cause I definitely do NOT want to have to replace a transmission. I already have to replace ***** joints and tie rods...

LOL, They do that around here too. The chevy boys run 33's all the way up into the rear wheelwell and a 3in lift up front, looks stupid.

Your's looks good though and will look even better on 35's. Love the semi-black hood!

theres a ton of squatted single cab silverados around here with flipped blocks in the rear and maxxed out ford keys in the front on 35s...they rub over every speed bump
