things to consider with 3" body lift

I want to get a 3" body lift, and I have a few questions.

1. Is the hitch going to look stupid, and is there a way to fix it?
2. Will there be a way to raise the exhaust pipe to look normal?
3. Will the spare tire be in the same spot, or raise with the body?

1) Depends a lot on the hitch, but with a welder anything is possible. Also you can leave the rear bumper in the stock location. It doesn't look horrible especially if you slap something like diamond plate in the gap.

2) Probably just get a custom pipe fitted to the muffler. Other then that, I couldn't think of one. Not sure if there are shorter hangers.

3) Spare tire stays the same as it's mounted to the frame. That's actually something else. If you raise the rear bumper you will need a wait to get behind your license plate if you want to still use the spare tire holder. Personally, my spare doesn't fit in that location anyway so I just throw it in the bed.

Yah I removed my spare. Also remember you're going to have bigger tires therefore your spare just isnt as....spare anymore. So you should check it and get a spare tire sized to what you're rolling on.

Your going to have to modify the hitch, take it to a fab shop if you can't do it yourself. They can do no problem.

Cut the tail pipe. I cut mine after if goes over the axle so it is like a downpipe and the fumes go to the ground.

There is a hole behind the license plate that will line up with your spare tire hole after you lift the bumper.
