2003 2.3 no crank no start

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I have been trying to figure out this problem for months. No crank no start issue, I installed a new battery and replaced all cables and the truck started. I cut it off and it wouldn't start again. So I disconnected the battery for 15 mins, reconnected it and it started. So what do you guys think it is? Transceiver for the PAT's system or the computer.

Welcome to the forum

There is a THEFT light on the dash, it should flash every few seconds when key is off, this is to warn thieves that PATS is active

With key on the Theft light should come on and then go OFF
If it flashes rapidly then PATS has been activated so no crank, no start

If you wait 45-60 seconds with key still on, Theft Light will start to flash a 2 digit code number, one flash(1) a pause, then 1 to 6 flashes(1-6) then a longer pause and it repeats
So codes are 11 to 16
That that will tell you why PATS was activated
11 Transceiver [transponder coil] not connected, or there is no power to it.
12 Transceiver internal fault.
13 No Key/no PATS key has been used to turn the ignition switch.
14 Incomplete key code received.
15 Invalid key code received.
16 CAN communications error.

Also with key on you should see the CEL(check engine light) that means the computer has powered up
