hello hey i have a 94 ranger 2.3l 5 speed manual.i just replaced timing belt my belt broke. when it runs it has a metallic noise coming i think around camshaft.what would make this noise? I just had all my motor mounts and trans mount replaced. Id appreciate someones advice on this truck

Timing belt cover could be hitting belt or gear

2.3l Lima engine was used from 1976 to 1997, in many Ford Models, very reliable engine.

Nothing comes to mind, but if you didn't have the noise before timing belt change then I would start to disassemble it again until you find the problem, a worn metal surface
