Bad Miss

Hi,
guys, I have a 1995 Ford Ranger 2.3L 4x4 5speed. It has about 155,000 miles on it and was given to me from my dad. It currently has a real bad miss. I had a computer hooked up to it. Said there was a miss fire in cyl. 3.
I've replaced the plugs about 30,000 miles ago and wires and just replaced the front coil pack. I know the truck needs Oxy sensors. I check the plugs today and the front plugs (closest to the front bumper) were burned up and rusted. Didn't have electrodes or anything. Completely toast. A couple others were just black. and the front right plug cap was gone and dangling. Can anyone tell me if the bad Oxy sensor is causing this? Maybe burning to rich and killing the plugs? What else could it be?
Thanks in advance guys!

I don't think bad O2 sensor will cause "bad miss". Tried new DIS. Let us know what the outcome is.

Isn't a coil pack the distributor?
Thanks!
