Can I use a federal ecu instead of the original Calif?

1992 2.3 manual. Truck sitting long time with badly corroded ECU. Suffix GB = California. Can I replace if with a non Cal ECU? I live in rural Idaho. The truck has MAF, EGR.

Welcome to the forum

Yes you can
EGR just won't be used
Make sure its a 2.3l Manual Trans ECU
