converter
converter
ok so my converter is clogged up pretty bad, so i am thinking if cutting it off but i dont want that damn check engine light on. does any1 know a way to keep it off or if i even can also will this hurt the 2.3 or give it anymore power
Well if you chop it off you will lose power in the end. Like you will get the power back from having a clogged cat but then you will lose power from not having one. I'm not sure what to do about the light.
i drove my 93 with nothing but a dynomax turbo muffler, i had alot of power from 0 - 60 but i must say i lost a little at top end not much though. i would try to get a high flow converter if you can afford it, remember people will buy your old onefrom you too.
