do they run better without a cat or does the motor need the backpressure of the cat to have power?

i was always told you had to leave it on for the light purposes,but i thought of doing the same thing here in nw ohio.it would be easy to get away with no cat.i ended up just leaving mine on and going with no muffler.

 

Think the enviroment has enough problems already...

 

they dont need cats unless you like loud, (and not a beefy type loud). you can either live with the light on, or you can get a mil switch, that'll take care of the light. or theres always the option of getting the computer program changed a little. theres a option in there where you can not run a second o2 sensor. thats what i gotta do when i finally get my turbo engine running. plus it'll backfire like mother if you pull the cat
