sucked up water....
well i decided to go off roading last night, i was having a ****ty night and wanted to get my mind off what was going on.
i went to the spot i goto most of the time, it had alot more water then before..
so i pull into a deep rut and almost get stuck, fun.
then i hit a few more ruts and deep holes..
then theres a hugeee mud pit that i didn't see, and bam, i fly into it.
the truck stalls and i see steam coming from under the hood, at this point i knew i sucked up water or something bad...
i try to start the truck back up and it starts, but steam is pouring out of the exhaust and its running like ****.
i let it sit and idle for a min and pull out of the hole.
i know i shouldn't have been driving it but i had no choice, so i limped it home.
it was running fine, but the idle was kinda shaky.
im soo glad i put the "intake muffler" back on my truck, now i know what its for, it was full of water, so im going to assume thats what its for.
when i got home to my apt i took the intake off.
as soon as it was off i turned it to sit it on the ground and water goes pouring
allover.
im going to buy a stock intake on friday, no more k&n open filter.....
i hope my truck is ok, i know the 2.3L is a tank, we will see......

ok well i cleaned the MAF and checked the compression in cyl2 i only got 90psi..
the plug seemed fine, it had a normal grayish white color on the end.
this is all the testing i have had time todo.
i cleared the cel for the cyl2 misfire and it came back a few days later.
the truck runs, but it shakes really bad at idle, my dad said i probably bent a connecting rod or something.
whats the normal psi for the 2.3 lima?
