missing?

my 89 2.3 4x4 , starts fine, but once i drive a mile or so it starts acting like its missing or loosing fuel, it'll shake the hole truck and when i stop at lights on my way to work it will usually stall, or when i clutch it the engine light comes on for a second and it'll start to stall untill i let out on the clutch! but some times it will also high idle? its either stalling or high idleing never normal idle? it has new fuel filter, air filter, and complete fuel pump and sending unit and computer! i think my clutch is starting to get weak though, would the clutch cause this? or a sensor? any one have a clue? cause i sure dont! lol

i would say spark is your problem you have enough gas just not enough spark to burn it plugs and wires.

if you change the sparkplugs and wires and it still happens then it is probably the coil pack because that is what was wrong with mine

changed plugs and wires, i think they where the originals from 1989! also removed my altanator to get to one of the coil packs and found it was full of water, so i replaced it, made flaps of 1/4" rubber sheets and used them to fill in the open area in my inner fender wells! This took care of the problem, but now i have a vaccum leak!
