I just joined this and i'm hoping to find answers. I have a 2.3l 4cyl 2001 2wd 2dr XLT ranger with a K&N airfilter in the engine but i put 29" tires on it recently and the little power it had is now down to barely anything. I'm not looking to spend TOO much but enough to get what i need which would be more horse and better gas mileage. If anybody has ANY sugestions please hit me back, thank you so much

 

Regearing the rear end will help you get some ***** back in that thing. What is your gear ratio now?

 

haha no idea i'll find that out and get back to you. i notice that you have a MTX sub in ur truck...do u have that custom box that MTX makes that fits where the jack is suppose to be cause i've been looking for that for the 2dr rangers, obviously having no luck lol

Thats a pretty sweet box! Also..... I would for sure look into a bama tuner, that should give you some MPG and probably 10-20hp / torque.

 

holy **** i've been looking for that box forever thank you lol and its not that expensive, i'll def. be picking that up, and i'll look into that bama turner. thanks guys
