Hey fellers recently replaced alternator battery and 15 amp alt fuse. Truck running fine except a little slow, backfires a tad, and smells like a lawnmower.
somebody cut the exhaust up years agi before she was mine and welded a cherry bomb to it. I know big suprise.
anyway i was hoing some work the the trans a while back and kncojed the crappy welded end pipe off. I noticed theres 2 o2 sensors (one before and after the cherry bomb) the one after the cherry bomb has a nick in the wire and its slightly exposed. Would that cause a “p1131 lack of ho2s- system indicates lean” code? And would this cause it to run sluggish? Not slow just not all 100 horses and torqes.
