Coolant leaking from the heater control on the heater hose T
Wassup guys, i thought i had all the bugs worked out of my truck, then i found something new. On the heater hoses when theres 2 comming out of the firewall and there is that T that goes to one hose, on the bottom theres this sensor looking thing with a grey vacuum hose comming out running to the firewall. well its leaking antifreeze out of where the vacuum hose runs into it. its leaking right where the vaccum hose plugs into it, its on the bottom side of the plastic t job. what is this called, what does it do and how can i stop the leaking. i just noticed this, and was thinking i could zip tie the hose end onto the sensor. if anyone knows what this is and how to fix it it would be much appreciated. thanks guys for all the help!
thanks,

yep about 3 years ago I had this go out on me. don't remember what the t is called but I know what your talking about. Best thing to do if it's leaking is simply replace it. I think mine was between $10 and $40, not too expensive.
Getting the heater hoses off isn't easy, be prepared to use some elbow grease. -Mike-
