I have a 1995 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L, manual transmission. The vehicle was sold without A/C or power steering. A/C was added at the dealer. There was a pulley mounted to a bracket that mounts where the power steering pump would normally mount installed for belt routing purposes. The bearing on that pulley seized. Has anyone ever ran into this problem before? Ford has no listing of bracket / pulley assembly existing, and they are no longer able to access the parts list of what parts would have come in A/C kit. Any help would be appreciated.
If you're just after the bearing, you can go to a aftermarket bearing supplier and get one there.
There are many names eg, SKF, NSK, NTN...
Once your bearing is removed, look for the brand name and number on the edge of the outer or inner race.
If you have a local bearing store, the can mic up your old one for your if you can't see the number anymore.

The pulley was destroyed when the bearing locked up. There were no numbers on the bearing, because the plastic on the bearing has melted. I removed the bearing, measure the ID, and searched Dayco for 17mm ID, and 51/4' OD pulley, was only able to find 5", installed with shorter belt. Thanks for the help, I guess I was just being lazy.
