Strange vibration

I've been noticing that when I put on brakes sometime the whole truck begins to shake, not badly though; and on days I drive all day It shakes really bad when braking and accelerating. Can someone give me some advice on what it might be?

Warped rotors is my bet. Just fixed that on my sisters Honda and my old truck had the same thing. I bet the reason it get really bad when you drive all day is they get so warm that they will deflect more under load.

I would think it would be your alignment or your tires balance is off, so when you exsert force on the brakes which in turns affects the tires that can cause vibration in the truck. But I could be wrong just a thought.

Place your bets.....will it be
1. ball joints
2. rotors or
3. alignment

I'm still putting my money on the rotors since I have had it happen to two different vehicles. If it is the rotors you can have your stock ones trued for pretty cheep. Even new ones aren't terribly expensive.

If its shaking upon acceleration, its not your rotors.

While braking, the harder the braking, the harder the shake. Its the rotors.

While accelerating, its your tires, need balancing. And rotation possibly.

It was on a gen3 ranger not is 07. Normally if its shaking under breaking on it's warped rotors. Turning them will only fix it for a short time. Best bet is new rotors and do NOT I repeat do NOT get autozone rotors. They are cheap and thinner then oem. Either get OEM or get them from napa auto parts.
