ok only have 6.6v at inertia switch. 6v at fuel pump. looked at fuel pump relay and only have 11.98v on one of the three smaller legs socket into fuse panel. why would i lose 6v?? ZERO pressure at fuel rail w/gauge. did check large connection under drivers seat looked brand new. checked voltage pk/blk blk wire at fuel pump comnnection 6v. no codes.
truck was running no issues. switched drivers never restarted.

 

Swap out the fuel pump relay.
I believe the A/C relay will replace it as a temp fix.

 

no tried that...getting 12v from yel/wht blk wire combot at pump. Is this correct and I just have a dead pump? I was looking for 12v from pnk/blk blk combo. Looks like simple fix...new pump?

 

new pump and strainer orderd today..will keep ya up dated. PROBLEM FIXED!! It was fuel pump. I only had 6.4v at pnk/blk and ground because you only have 12v for 2 sec...then 6.4 yel/wht is for fuel gauge.

noticed that little squigley hose on top of tank is rotting...i mean bad to the point that it might be a reason that my pump failed. When I looked into the old pump I could see a black tar and I bet that is where it came from. So for $1.00 replace it while your there.
