Got a good deal on a 3.0 Sport, didn,'t have it 2 weeks and neighbor's dogs got out & chased a cat up under it. They were relentless in their pursuit of the cat & tore up a whole lot of stuff under the truck, not any insulation or sound barrier left, got trans harness at the main plug, main harness in 2 places,oxygen sensor wires, knock sensor, plug wires ,& vacuum lines.
Got it all reconnected, soldered, heat shrinked, & loomed up
Truck runs ,everything works, but it has a bad misfire, throwing code PO171 System Too Lean (Bank 1). 2 Vacuum lines were disconnected, 1 to the reservoir ball. 1 to the heat/ ac control, had to splice 1 to the ball, 1 to the intake from the ball was intact.
Now for my question,shouldn't there be more than 2 vacuum lines under the hood on a 2006 3.0 ? I' ve looked at an '05 & a '07 & 08 none are the same, but I suspect I'm missing something on this one that is causing the problem & any help would be appreciated
