Want to turbo my truck. Can u put a turbo on a 2.9l or do i swap with a different turbo v6

You can do anything you want

2.9l is pretty old now so no one makes turbos for them, but ebay may have some older ones
These two companies made them
Janspeed-single and twin turbos
Turbo Technics-single and twin turbo

4cyl engines are better/easier to turbo charge

Superchargers are, IMO, better for V6 or V8 engines, also you can limit boost so less likely to blow the stock engine
With a turbo if the wastegate sticks.................well.................not good
