2002 b3000 accelerating barely accelerating and spitting black smoke out the exhaust
I’ve got a 02 b3000 I recently when two tracking with my buddies when it began running extremely poorly. Looking at the truck we found the rear o2 sensor wires had been ripped out at the socket. I went to the store to replace it but after trying three different o2 sensors it only ran worse. Accelerating to roughly 35 I can barley touch the accelerator before it sputters. It’s definitely running rich because black smoke is coming out the tailpipe but I can’t figure out why any help?

Whats "two tracking"?
Rear O2 sensor(downstream sensor) has no effect on engine operation, its there to test if Cat converters are working, are they cleaning the exhaust
If the O2 sensor wires were shorted then you could have blown the O2 heater fuse, check fuse #41 in ENGINE Fuse box, 20amp
This effects the 2 Upstream O2s, which are used to calculate air/fuel mix
What about the exhaust system, clogged exhaust causes very poor running, can't get RPMs up because exhaust can't get out
You can test for that with vacuum gauge
Also causes black smoke because of limited combustion
Is CEL(check engine light) on?
Are there any Codes?
Even if CEL is not on you should see if you can check for codes

There loads of snowmobile trails around where I live so me and my buddies go down them, it’s literally named because there’s two tracks in the ground you follow. Thanks for the help Ron me and my buddy were checking everything to try and fix it but it turned out to just be a fuse.
the previous owner put a 5 amp fuse in and it finally blew.
