i plan on getting my 1998 ranger running after a few years of sitting my sister drove it last so this is second hand info but apparently it wasnt running well and while revved up it would whistle. someone thought it was the intake gasket and another thought it was a vacuum line im gonna get it into my shop and start working on it and get it started im going to start with new plugs and wires etc. i was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. oh and when i initially got the ranger it had the vacuum lines to the hubs broken so i think it might be a vacuum line but i dont know yet
