I dont know why but when im at a low rpm and floor it ( in any gear) my truck stutters real bad. I cleaned my K&N out but nothing. I havnt tried changing plugs or wires yet. My engine only has 80000 on it and it just started this outta nowhere. Never had anyproblems like this before. Thanks for any input....

 

Change the plugs.
Pick up a can of MAF cleaner and follow the instructions on the can.
You may have over oiled the K&N which let excess oil contaminate the MAF sensor.
Pull the codes and see what shows up.

 

Its not showing a check engine light, would it still pull a code? I'll try the plug change and MAF cleaner. Thanks OTR!

 

You won't always get a code for the MAF.

 

Should I take the MAF out of the intake tube or just clean it with it in there?

 

Plugs, wires, fuel filter, and clean your MAF.... 9 times out of 10 that is your problem

 

MAF, fuel filter, plugs/wires. those are most likely your problem.
