i am trying to remove the slave cylinder out of a 86 ford ranger 2.9l v6 4x4. i cannot understand why it will not come out. any ideas? FYI i do not have the transmission completely out. it is halfway out. enough for us to get the clutch out but not the housing to come off.

 

ok nevermind. we had to disconnect the tranny from the bell housing in order to get to the slave cylinder. and P.S. its a pain the ***.
