upper intake tubes

the 2 tubes on the upper intake of my 3.0 are leaking. does anyone have pics of the bypass mod? is it just connecting the 2 hoses together with a piece of tubing?

thanks

I assume you mean the heater hoses for the upper intake.
Yes, you can just loop them, by-passing the intake, BUT(big but).................

The reason the heater is there is that the 3.0l is prone to icing in the upper intake in colder climates, your location says Missouri, and it can get cold there.
It for sure won't hurt the engine, just may be cause rough running at times.
