93 3.0. no fuel pressure
93 3.0. no fuel pressure
I can not hear the fuel pump running and have no pressure in the fuel rail on the engine. Could it be a fuse under the dash and what amperage is it?

Welcome to the forum
Fuse for fuel pump is in the engine bay fuse box.
In 1994 is was #22, 20amp, but should be labelled FP Fuse
There is also a Fuel Pump Relay in same fuse box, pull it out and swap it with WOT relay, or just pull it out and have a look at it then put it back in, could just be poor connection in socket.
AND.............in the passenger foot area below Glove box will be an Inertia switch.
Looks like this: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...tch-jpg.77025/
Has a Red button on the top
This switch can also be behind passenger side Kick panel
Red button will popup if there is a sudden stop, i.e. accident, this cuts power to fuel pump to prevent a fire.
If it ever "popped up" it can be pushed back down to get pump working again, but..........it is not a full reset, so slamming a door or hitting a bump can pop it again.
So if popped it needs to be replaced.
Fuel pump only runs for 2 seconds when key is turned on, i.e. fuel pump relay only closes for 2 seconds with key on.
But it does that EACH TIME key is turned from off to on.
So repeat as much as needed to see if pump starts to work again, doesn't hurt anything.
1993 uses OBD1 computer so in the engine bay will be OBD1 diagnostic port, image seen here: http://www.therangerstation.com/how-...ipped-engines/
ON the drawing you will see Fuel Pump slot IDed
If you Ground that slot it will activate the FP Relay whenever key is on, FULL TIME so no 2 second thing

93 3.0 no fuel pressure
I checked the relays and the inertia switch I have 1 fuse under the dash that is blown but that is a 15 amp. I checked all the fuses under the hood and they're all good. Last thing I can think of is that the fuel pump is not working.
That would be the correct conclusion
Pulling off the bed is easier than lowering the tank
Well easier that trying to get the tank back in, lol.
6 bolts in the bed and 3 screws on filler hose(filler hose has to come off either way)

T55
They will be rusted so have impact gun or cheater bar just in case
You can remove the 4 front bolts then loosen the rear two bolt and tilt the bed up, if rear bumper allows it, and use 2x4 to prop it up, safety first
