99 3.0 TONS of problems
99 3.0 TONS of problems
Got a 99 ranger XLT 3.0 flex fuel automatic truck has 110k miles on it and its good but had to spend so much time to fix problems on it such as cylinder heads head gaskets, O2 sensors,Map sensor, intake gaskets, injectors, coil, plugs, plug wires.filters, oil press gauge, fuel filter, pcv, vacuum lines, have had check engine light on so many times I can count and recently have flashing CEL when under a load and uphill and truck is shifting longer now. at the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. It has an interment shake above 45 that goes away when you let off the gas and slight shake at idle. All fluids are good including transmission fluid. I think it currently has lean bank codes and 02 sensor codes along with misfire but I had replaced all of those parts that cause them the first time. It also sometimes does not like starting in the morning like 2-5 times trying to get it to start. The truck is not fun to have around for how many problems it has iv read that it could still be flex fuel sensor to cam positing sensor and not enough fuel pressure to not sure what to go on any more trying not to spend more money on it then I have to and sorry for a long first post just wanted to get all the information out the first time. Any help will be appreciated.
