The motor has been missing from the day I got it. Not too bad then but gettn worst in time. I was getting misfire on #4 but if I pulled a plug wire it was worse. Guessing its not spark? the other day with a scan app I found the #3 injector said it got a faiult. All were replaced when I replaced the heads. Its kinda the same miss if had all the time. im thinking the injector is ok the wiring or PCM is doing it.
im going to pull the injector conector off the see what happens, might even try a few others.
Can take a week to clear P1000, minimum is 2 days since some of the tests need TWO drive cycle tests
The EGR system and fuel tank EVAP system take the longest to pass the tests
Some tests require driving at steady 35mph, other need wide open throttle a few times
EVAP Test can only be done with gas level in that tank between 1/4 and 3/4
First switched plug wires, miss still there? Undid injector connection to test for 12V KOMO. yep 12V but I felt like the connector wasn't right? I checked a few other things. then I pushed the connector on and felt a little snap. fired her up and Bingo, how smooth it is!! Im thinking it was close enough to run but under any kind of load the signal or juice wasn't there.
