Car Wont Start In The mornings
Hello guys I have a 2002 ford ranger 3.0 I am having issues with my car starting in the mornings.
on this past week I have been using starting fluid to start it , and it will run perfectly after the initial start with starting fluid it will start like normal, for example when running errands leaving it off for 30 minutes wont cause any issues.
the real problem happens until you leave off for a long period of time 2 to 3 hours periods or over night the next day i will be a near impossible to start with out starting fluid.
We have replace the fuel pump, the cam and crank sensor , the cam sensor has been positioned correctly.
we have tested the injectors with noid lights they seem to be working.
a new ignition coil has been installed.
thanks in advance to all of you.

With just that to go on I would replace the ECT sensor on speculation
You have two temp devices on your engine
ECT(engine coolant temp) sensor, 2 wires and uses 5volts, only used by the computer
ECT SENDER, 1 or 2 wires, uses 12volts, only used by dash board temp gauge
They look similar but are not
The ECT sensor is used to set the CHOKE to start a Cold engine, with no choke a cold engine is hard to start
Choking adds extra fuel to help get engine started, like spraying starting fluid into the engine would do.......................
The ECT sensor will have a Grey/red stripe wire, and a Light green/red stripe wire
SENDER uses red/white and black/white wires
