Since i have a 95 ranger with a alluminum intake manifold will i gain anything by installing the 98 intake manifold and throttle body? since there both.larger

Just wondering since there are tons of 3.0 rangers in the junker and i might want to grab the entire manifold to see if will make the ranger run a little better.

 

yeah i really don't know either, but if it fits without modifying it, and you can get it for a good price, i'd just go ahead and buy it and try it out, and then let us know, might be something no ones tried before.

 

What do you guys think may be the main difference?
besides the throttle linkage atleast.

 

well you could just go to the junk yard tell them your loking for the intake manifold and go in find one the same as your truck and one that is a 98 or same engine, take both off see if the 98 fits on one with the same engine as yours and if it dose then buy it, and if the throttle body is about in the same spot as yours, you should be able to connect your cable right up
