So I just got done changing my transmission and now i am moving on to fix my high idle. It idles at arond 1100k and i think it should be like 700. I have tested the IAC and when i pull the plug the engine drops down to about 550. Would that mean my IAC is bad? I have tried cleaning it with no luck.

Any other possible causes?

 

Replace the IAC? Also... search... there have been TONS of threads about this issue. You might find an answer after a little bit of searching.
