Clutch Job

Finally got Franky on the road today. The first 30 mile test ride no problems. On my second trip the front right brake caliper froze up and the clutch stopped working. It was not slipping but not allowing me to shift. I think its the slave cylinder. Its a 1990 2.9l four wheel drive with 138,000 miles. The transmission is the (M5R1). Since I may have to take the transmission out I thought I should do the clutch kit for it. I looked online and cannot figure which one fits. Any help would be great. Looking for a good source at a good price. Thank.

You would get the clutch for the transmission you have, M5R1

Only the 2WD 2.9ls got the M5R1s so your 4x4 M5R1 was swapped in by you or previous owner
Do you know if the Flywheel was change to a 4.0l model?

Article here on doing that: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...to-4-0-clutch/

If you are not sure you will need to pull off the transmission and measure the current clutch disc, 9" if 2.9l, and 10" if 4.0l
If 9" then order 1990 2.9l M5R1 clutch kit
If 10" then order 1991 4.0l M5R1 clutch kit
