Coolant lines to intake warmer.

1/8" metal lines corroding. Whats a easy fix? I don't have the tools to drill and tap.
I capped the lines. Now idle is a little higher and check engine light is on. Hacks for cancelling those two?

Welcome to the forum

Year of Ranger?
Engine, 3.0l?

The 3.0l in some years had 2 smaller metal coolant fittings on the upper intake manifold
Picture here: https://i952.photobucket.com/albums/...s/f9d1aea8.jpg

There were there to pre-heat intake in colder climates, its just an IN/OUT chamber, so the hoses can be disconnected and capped off

It for sure will not effect engine operation, been done, literally, thousands of times because the plastic "Ts" on the heater hoses also leaked, so regular hoses were used with no "Ts"

These 2 metal connector on the 3.0l also rust out, so heads up: https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1374288518

The one with the sensor in it especially
