E85 and 3.0 V6

Hi guy's.

I am new to this board, But not new to the ranger world. I recently picked up a 98 ranger xlt 2wd. It has a 3.0 v6. Reading on Wikipedia say's the (98) 3 liter was a "flex fuel" engine. It can run on regular gas and E85,

Can anyone confirm this reasoning?

Ford Vulcan engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thanks

There were 2 separate models. Some were flex fuel, some weren't.
