Engine Misfire
Engine Misfire
Hello Everyone,
I've had my 04 Ranger Edge for a little over 5 years, bought it with 105,000 miles, it now has 152,000 miles. I've had very little issues with it, but yesterday I went through the local car wash (Ultimate Shine) just like I have several times in the past and once I got done cleaning the inside and pulled out it was rough idling, and hesitate when giving the gas. I put a code reader to it it it gave me the following codes
P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire))
P0302 (Cylinder 2 Misfire)
P0306 (Cylinder 6 Misfire)
P0316 (Engine Misfire Detected)
P0462 (Fuel Level Sensor) I see this when I let my fuel get just below 1/4 tank, Once I fill it up and reset it goes away.
I checked the plug wires and they all are seated firmly, could a plug/wire gone bad just like that?
