my buddy ----ed up his engine on his 1990 4.0 can i use his dual exhaust that he has on it even tho mines a 3.0

 

Yea it wont really make much of a difference.

 

would i have 2 do any mods for it 2 work

 

would i have to weld or anything cause mines a super cab and his is a regular cab

 

The system might be shorter than what you need. You could just have an exhaust shop put custom pipes in after the muffler.

 

but u think we might b able 2 use the stock hangers

 

the hangers should be in the same place in relation to the back of the truck. I put a system for an ext cab on my reg cab, just needed a shorter pipe in the middle. but the rear hange should work fine for both. as mentioned it should just be the middle pipe, between the cats and the muffler that will need to be custom. local exhaust place put the pipe in the middle for me welded for $35.

they aren't factory hangers then anyway, so it shouldn't matter. even if it does, you can get generic hangers at auto zone that will work out.

there's only one factory hanger and it will be the same for both.
