Finally the BAMA arrived!

We'll it's about freaking time!!! Nah I'm just really impatient.

Anyways, it showed up today and I uploaded the 87 performance. I must say it gives my truck quite an improvement! But only at WOT...

I will try the 91 perfoamnce tonight as well as cranking up shift firmness to 25%, and rev to 6000. Right now its at 20% and 5800.

Fixed my speedo finally..lol, 1.5 years later...still not 100% accurate but dang close. Used to be anywhere from 8-11 mph off...now its like 2...maybe 3.

Overall I would say I recommend the tuner...but not until after exhuast and intake...but that just personal preference. I would also say that this mod has been the most noticable increase in power/performance so far...and I havent even tried 91...so I am pretty happy and excited to try that tonight.

I gave it 4 or 5 hard pulls....each time was faster until the last one...but I think it was because my engine was hot...and it was like 105 outside. Tonight when it cools down and I try 91 I think I will be even more satisfied.

man 105 what are you doing racing at like 5am? It was 112 in the shop today (in the shade) but the cars help heat up the oven. Thought u were getting a taco but now ur modding the ranger?

my dad and his timing are insane. He gave me the taco offer 2 weeks after I ordered the BAMA. Oh well...I suppose it will help the truck sell. But I have this truck for another 2 months I believe. So I'm gonna saver the last moments.

and dont you mean 5 PM...not am....am would be nice and cool:

eek i wouldnt do 6k RPMs on the 3.0L.. after ~5600 is where drop-off occurs and you're just wastin gas and putting wear on the motor.

isnt that where it drops off on a stock motor though? With headers, exhuast and intake most of my power should be in the higher rpms

anyways, I just tried the 91 tune and all I have to say is WOW....that is way different than 87, lol.

I did put the rev at 6,000 and shift firmness at 25%...it was much faster. I am very pleased. And this tune will be going off tomorrow...I dont need that much hp for driving to work...I'll save the 91 tune for the track.

I do have a superchips programmer and I love it, but I know the bama tuner is better.
