Hey i want to put some new fuel injectors in but was wondering what size they were. For six its like 300 bucks but on summit you can get a set of 8 for 125 bucks for a ford mustang. Would that work on a 2000 ranger xlt

 

Are yours going bad? If not I wouldn't waste the money. I mean $125 isn't bad but then you have to tune the computer for the new injectors if you get bigger. Also make sure its not $125 each.

the ones on my truck are original and I'm getting ready to put some cleaner through instead of replacing a 60 dollar part.

the cleaner works wonders too my girlfriend had a stopped up injector, and she wouldn't let me buy her a new one(she's a smart girl(she knows how much stuff is)) so I put a crap load of the cleaner in there spread out over like a month or 2 and it made it better. I would defiantly recommend that you run some cleaner through before you spend that much money.

 

buy rebuilt ones if your going to do so theres this dude on ebay that i have bought from actually twice and they work amazing and are like 100 for six for your vehicle. Have some right now on the ranger and on the expedition.

 

what kinda cleaner and who on ebay the only ones ive found are ones were i send my old ones to them and they ship them back out ater they clean them. Im not sure if the cleaner will work because i just got done putting heads on and know the truck is running rough and backfiring and i think it is the injectors probally cylinder 2 and 3
