Fuel line leaks

With the cold weather and my misguided attempt to remove this last summer, the fuel line is starting to leak. Can I repair or do I need to replace entire line? How easy to do? It is that upper of two lies in pic.

Where is it leaking from? The connection or the line itself?
They do sell replacement lines with the spring lock fitting all ready to go.

I think from the connection. I had tried to remove without the tool. I now have the tool. Think I would like to replace the entire line and fuel filter, and maybe O2 sensor. It sometimes has to crank a bit before the fuel gets injected.....where to buy? Rockauto? Why are there two lines?

1997 and older Ranger used 2 fuel lines in engine bay
IN from filter and fuel pump
OUT, return to gas tank

The OUT line is connected to the Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR)

The IN line is connected to the Fuel Rail, which has the injectors on it

When an engine is running the fuel pressure needs to stay steady or computer can't calculate correct "open time" for each injector
Computer expects 30-40 psi fuel pressure on 1997 and earlier Rangers
At idle fuel consumption is low
When accelerating or cruising at 65mph fuel consumption is higher
The FPR maintains the correct pressure by sending more fuel back to the gas tank at idle and less fuel when demand goes up

1998 and up Rangers had the FPR moved to inside the gas tank, so only 1 fuel line in engine bay, and these ran 55psi fuel pressure

RockAuto is a good source, try and get Motorcraft parts from them if it's available as they have competitive pricing. Call your local Ford Dealer and you can compare pricing. Generally, I found RA to be close to dealer cost not retail for the part.
