Hi. I have a 1995 Ranger XLT and suspect the fuel pump may be going bad as it's hard to start sometimes. I'd like to test
the fuel pump pressure. I believe the valve for this is next to the fuel pressure regulator. I'm curious as to which tester would
be a good one to buy. Any help is appreciated.

 

It use a schrader valve, which is the same valve that used on tire' air valve
The gauge should screw on to the test port on the engine, not a "push and hold" like a tire air gauge
It should be capable of 100psi, 1986 to 1997 Ranger used 35psi average fuel pressure, 1998-2011 used 60psi average fuel pressure
