good time to do plugs?

^^ ditto what he said....i used the bosch platinums because the guy who sold me the truck left them in the console....when the weather got cold....(50's) i started getting misfire codes... threw in some Motorcrafts and it cleared up
i'd say the 60k mark would be fine to change them

When I changed my OEM plugs at 85K they were done. The electrodes were very unevenly worn and the platinum was gone. My truck has used a lot of E85 though, which is hard on plugs.
I used Motorcraft plugs from the parts store. The ones I got were not pregapped for a Ranger. They were at around .054 out of the box, so I regapped them to .044.
